Who is Doron Keidar? (Video)

So who exactly is Doron Keidar? The following video (h/t JewishIsrael) says it all. He is a zealous missionary. So why would Zehut's Moshe Feiglin participate in an evangelical convention in Jerusalem with such a spiritual predator? Is this the meaning of Jewish leadership? It wasn't that many years ago that a Doron Keidar would have been bounced out of the country on his head. Those days are gone. Today, he has the support of the highest levels of government, and the friendship of religious Jews. This is the problem.

Who Let Them In? Part II (Stop Hayovel Podcast)

As I promised, in this podcast, I call out Zehut's Moshe Feiglin for his hypocrisy in his April article: https://www.zehutinternational.com/single-post/2018/04/27/PM’s-Serious-Identity-BlunderBy all means, Feiglin should call out Benjamin Netanyahu for hiring Youtube missionary Hananya Naftali, and for Bibi's general association with evangelical missionaries. But in the interest of consistency, he should first make sure that his own house is in order. If he calls out Bibi, then he needs to bounce Yishai Fleisher out of Zehut for his known associations with missionaries such as Robert Stearns, Mike Isley, Micke Huckabee, Glenn Beck, Jim Garlow, and Hayovel. I'm sick and tired of hearing (more than a few murmurings from insiders who are sensitive to this issue) about elements within Zehut (some in the hierarchy) who are tending to the "problem". If Feiglin is any sort of leader, he needs to deal with this immediately.
Link to evangelical leader Jim GarlowSkyline Church's "Tree of Life" Messianic Congregation, and Skyline's three "Rabbi teachers". Scroll down the page. Note: They reversed Fleisher's name with Tuly Wiesz. and of course, Yehuda Glick is the third of the three.

Who Let Them In? Part I (Podcast)

My reflections on the sudden feigned concern about missionaries, coming from certain "hasbara" circles. Ironically, some of the loudest voices come from those self-appointed religious voices who collaborated with evangelical missionaries. A foundation for a series of future audio posts providing further analysis. Warning: No quarter will be given. Part II will address Moshe Feiglin's (Zehut party) April article which addressed this outrage. My problem with Feiglin is one of intellectual honesty and integrity. Is Zehut's house really clean itself? https://www.zehutinternational.com/single-post/2018/04/27/PM’s-Serious-Identity-Blunder

Evangelical Missionaries: Who Let Them In? Part I

Benjamin Netanyahu’s hiring of YouTube "sensation" Hananya Naftali as his new deputy social media adviser is disgraceful. As a notorious online missionary, Hananya Naftali's brazen admissions of proselytizing while in the IDF are well known. This disgraceful act from Bibi proves once again, that even in an era of anti-Torah values where anything seems possible, there are always lower levels of chillul Hashem that a society can succumb to. It exposes how far Israel's leadership has fallen. This is well beyond the challenges of secularism as it relates to a Jewish society, albeit one that very far from a Torah society. This speaks of basic Jewish identity and self-respect, so necessary for us to survive as a religio-nation. In short, when a spiritual predator of Jews whose proselytizing efforts are documented on video, can nevertheless be hired by a prime minister of Israel, something is indeed very wrong with the Jewish psyche.

This is what happens after years of sleeping with evangelicals. Sleeping with the enemy is bad enough when it's just a one night stand. The torrid love affair with evangelicals is an enduring one.

Contrary to what too many brain-addled daati-leumi types think, evangelical money doesn't come free. The cost is high: a growing missionary presence in Israel that is more sophisticated, ambitious, and powerful than it was even five years ago. Thanks to Jewish collaboration. The reaction from the enemy is nauseating. Gloating and celebration.

The messianics and missionaries (in Israel and abroad) are celebrating because they know that missionaries are normalized in Israeli society and by the Israeli government. They understand that not only is Hananya Naftali no longer viewed as toxic, he is seen as a friend and an advocate for Israel. If in the past, Israel's anti-missionary laws were weak and ineffectual, they are entirely impotent today. Once upon a time, decent traditional secular Israelis would have wept. Today, more than a few religious Jews couldn't care less. Some are even glad.

In the aftermath of this perversion, certain voices rose up in outrage. Outrage is correct and understandable. But when did they wake up? And have they really? As I noted, the Likud has been in bed with missionaries for years. So it was inevitable that a friendly online missionary would become mainstreamed in an age of mindless, blathering, pandering, hasbara. Why not? Naftali “defends” Israel on YouTube. This is the end-goal, so why should hasbarites be surprised.

Yet the chutzpa of certain voices is beyond the pale. Some of the voices of outrage come with those who collaborate & collude with evangelicals. From the kinds of people who write books with missionaries, engage and dialogue with them, and even have tanach sessions in Knesset. Consider Rivka Adler Lambert and her "Ten For The Nations" book, which has chapters written by missionaries. She had the nerve to recently open her mouth on Facebook about Naftali. Shortly afterwards, she deleted the post when some of us "hijacked" her wall (the precise word used by an anti-missionary activist who disliked our aggressive approach) and demanded accountability from her. As these respectable types see it, Lambert should be praised. I believe that it is a clever diversion by a guilty party who is trying to sanitize her credentials from odious associations.

Similarly, Zehut's Moshe Feiglin has no credibility when he opines on Naftali yet ignores Zehut's Yishai Fleisher's enduring friendship with Hayovel missionaries, and his regular participation in the Knesset's tanach sessions with evangelical soul-snatchers. Such Torah sessions are well beyond the pale of anything acceptable in Torah society, and as such they are a clear violation of Rav Soloveitchik's strong position against any form of interfaith dialogue as expressed in his classic essay, "Confrontation". I am still waiting for JewishIsrael to explore Feiglin's failure to address this troubling issue. After all, JewishIsrael has written extensively on these issues in the past.

Take the hasbara blog Israellycool as another example. They celebrated Hananya Naftali until they could not. But even then, they gave him a slap on the wrist and refused to really tear into him. They attacked me relentlessly for calling out their soft handed approach. They never mentioned that "The Israel Project" still uses him, or gave it to "StandWithUs" for merely scrubbing him from their system. That would be hasbara suicide. The "Elder of Zion" blog had him listed for their coveted "hasby awards" in 2017. In the interest of complete candor, they recently published Varda Epstein's article against Hananya Naftali. Although it was a flawed effort which neglected many of the more difficult questions, it is nevertheless interesting that it wasn't featured on Israellycool, where her past articles were given a forum.

My understanding is that Israellycool is now reticent to address Hananya Naftali, further proving my point that they have no spine or integrity. They get angry at me for my past assertions regarding their craven platform, and they then confirm my arguments. I am no mind-reader, but they are as predictable as the sunrise. Their mindset is clear. If it is good enough for the Prime Minister of Israel, what is any self-respecting hasbarite to do? Fight the PM and call him out? This would be a shanda for the goyim!

And even were Israellycool to go after Naftali they have a dilemma. What kind of credibility can they have, when they still ignore their own contributor Kay Wilson’s documented messianic past which she has never admitted. They will scream slander in the face of unread, ignored, evidence, yet once upon a time they made an interesting claim themselves.
At the time of the incident, when she was unknown and they had no relationship with her, they were eager to get the scoop, and the following comment was posted on their blog. I bet they wished they hadn't been so ambitious.

And what of the so-called experts who defend a Kay Wilson while touting their so-called credentials and ignore the naked facts of an unrepentant former(?) messianic?Self-proclaimed expert, Penina Taylor comes to mind. Personally, I have no patience for such disingenuous behavior. Ms. Taylor might benefit from further investigation into Kay Wilson, starting with JewishIsrael's article "Will The Real Kishkush Stand Up?" To date, Penina Taylor has never presented a public refutation of the article's contents. As I see it, her sanctimonious assurances of having "vetted" Kay (as articulated in her Times of Israel article, "The Witch Hunt") are devoid of any credibility, if she cannot answer questions.

Tragically, certain individuals and organizations today who previously fought these issues, were bullied into submission over the years. Some of them are reticent to address these troublesome issues. Some pop up from time to time to offer their expertise. More than a few nakedly pander to the same forums and personalities who bashed them yesterday. (We have screenshots.) My advice to these weathered veterans. Call them all out, or shut your mouths and go away. Or do what the mainstream hasbara forums do and blog about celebrities and the BDS movement. But don’t lecture the few who are consistent and unafraid to demand equal accountability from everyone. It is normal to be broken by bullies, and to lose resolve. It is a tragic, but normal human reaction in the face of unrelenting bullying. If this is the case, retire gracefully and go away. Because one responds to bullies by punching their lights out, not by appeasement.

I want to reiterate that’s Hananya's hiring is indeed an outrage and the kind of thing that should destroy a coalition (were there principled traditional/religious Jews in Bibi's coalition). Every day, the chillul HaShem grows stronger, and because he can, Bibi will continue to do what he wants. A simple and attainable goal would be to demand Naftali's firing. It will require extraordinary muscle, and I fear that at this point the collective Jewish voice is atrophied.

In truth, the only voices that can argue such a position in good conscience are those whose conscience is clear. Not from those shtetl syndrome types who grovel before goyim and seek arrogant token gentiles to "defend" them with un-Jewish arguments. And not from those timid "hasbarites" who pine for popular attention and yearn for those coveted "hasby" awards.

To be continued......

Deception, Thy Name Is Tommy Waller

"I am not a Jew with trembling knees".- Menachem Begin

In Tomer Devora's  recent blog post, "There's Nothing New Under the Sun", the author explains how Tommy Waller's latest public apology tour is merely another evangelical tactic straight out of "The Book of Spiritual Warfare According to Paul"Without belaboring the point, it cuts through the veneer of Waller's apology by explaining his clever use of verbal gymnastics to delude those who already see Waller as a kosher Santa Claus. Those who are ignorant of evangelical doctrine and tactics are vulnerable to the two-faced Waller. And too many naive Jew are impressed by the crocodile tears of evangelicals.

Waller is as deadly as any crocodile. But he is also crafty. Like all successful evangelicals, Waller mastered the doctrine of wearing a hundred different masks to fool a hundred people. One mask for prostitutes. Another one for robbers. One for the poor. Another for the greedy. And an assortment of masks to trick Jews with kipot. There are even masks to fool Rabbis, Hashem help us! The perverse spectacle of Waller's apology tour, is a direct result of the effect some of us are having on exposing this issue. Simply put, Waller and his Jewish enablers are terrified of recent revelations (see video below) which expose Hayovel's true agenda.
On the one hand there are the shrill Jews who libel and slander us and accuse us of the same. The ones who refuse to respond to evidence, and have the nerve to accuse of us wrong-doing. They are biting back like wounded predators, with their incessant false allegations of "ruining good names and denigrating Torah scholars". All of it is untrue.

On the other hand, you have the evangelicals themselves, taking the soft "Brother Esau" approach. Taking the punches in stride, to show humility and understanding. For the intellectually inclined, the facts speak for themselves. But Hayovel's Jewish supporters are not intellectually honest. And they are emotionally invested in friendships with these people. If they were intellectual about this issue, this would be a non-issue. Our claim is stronger. We have the data to back up our position.

Shame on any Jew whose emotional spine is so bent over, that he actually falls for Waller's cleverly orchestrated apologetics. Considering the evidence, it is astounding that ANY Jew would have anything to do with these Hayovel swine. Consider the following video from February 2017, when Tommy Waller let down his hair among his "believing" friends. Naturally, Tommy Waller is having to respond to these videos so he is working over-time to give it "context". On his own Facebook page, they keep removing these videos each time they are posted in the comments section. Why is that? Because these videos expose Waller as a charlatan who will never renege on his evangelical mandate, but will readily change tactics to achieve his results.

Two final points: If certain Jewish "leaders" don't want us posting pictures of them taking photos with missionaries, they should heed my advice:

Don't take pictures with missionaries!

And if they were naive and unaware in the past, then they have an obligation to:

  1. publicly declare it to be so
  2. be humble and educate themselves
  3. disengage from any and all similar associations in the future.
But if you take a public photo-op with missionary Mike Isley and you are in the public eye, then you can expect that we will share it with the Jewish masses, because YOUR irresponsible behavior endangers Jews. A Jew who cares for his fellow Jews has no other choice. (For more on Mike Isley: http://jewishisrael.ning.com/page/jewish-sermon-on-the-mount)

To our frightened Jewish and non-Jewish detractors: Your impotent threats and petulance don't matter to those of us who are committed to this spiritual battle. We will not be cowed by bullying tactics. Our only concern is that the Torah truth prevails. It is NEVER personal or premised on hatred of Jews or decent gentiles. It is always about the halacha, and the inherent dangers of such toxic relationships.

There is One True Judge. One day, all of those tragic Jews who joined hands with Hayovel will have to answer to Hakadosh Baruch Hu for their outrageous actions. The day of Teshuva is upon us. May Hashem forgive those who engage in authentic repentance, and plant wisdom in the minds of those who are in dire need of it. And may The Almighty strike down the destroyers of Judaism, whether they wield the sword, or wield a hoe with the false smile of a distant brother with ill intentions.

Ganja Or Geulah

Disclaimer: I do not wish to imply (with the following meme) that Feiglin enjoys the Chicago Green, nor would I give a damn one way or the other. My intention is to highlight how the issue of cannabis legislation seems to be of a higher priority to him than the burning question of evangelical incursion in Israel. Nor has Feiglin clarified his position on the notorious Hayovel ministry. Inquiring voters want to know.

David Wilder's "Hayovel" Revelation

"The head Pharisee in Har Bracha approves of our work!"
Several years ago, noted Hebron activist David Wilder wrote an article where he correctly identified Tommy Waller and his "Hayovel" ministry as missionaries. After assessing the evidence and internalizing Waller's own damning words and actions, David Wilder was honest enough to reconsider his previous friendship and inform the public. It was evident to Wilder that Waller was bad news. The fact that David Wilder no longer comments on this issue today is unfortunate, but he has never retracted his words. And even if he did, what would that mean? Clearly, at the time of his admission, he was terribly disturbed by Waller and his terrible ruse.

Today we have so much more damning evidence on the Waller clan, and yet too many Jews continue to court and befriend this terrible missionary organization. These deluded types are easily duped by false smiles and assertions of brotherly love. Read about David Wilder's candid revelation in JewishIsrael's article: http://jewishisrael.ning.com/page/david-wilder-retracts-on-cufi-article

Here is an excerpt from Wilder's article:

"We spent quite a nice day together, and talked quite a bit. Tommy seemed somewhat upset about the fact that some Jews in Israel suspect him of missionary work, which he denied vigorously. I was a little taken aback by the seeming defensiveness of his comments, numerously repeated. I was also a little upset when he suggested that the dialogue he initiated, also be carried over into the ‘messianic Christian’ community in Israel . ‘Messianics’ are former Jews who have accepted jesus as a deity.  I told him that this wasn’t a very good idea; that these people are very dangerous, actively and deceptively attempting to convert Jews, and that any contact with them was to be rejected. He didn’t answer, but didn’t look overly happy with my comments.  I let it pass."

Commentary: The first notion that something was wrong. Most Hayovel supporters usually bury their heads in the sand at this point and they begin to make rationalizations.

"A few days ago I received information about ‘my friend’ Tommy Waller, that almost made me sick to my stomach. I found information directly tying him to David Ortiz, a ‘messianic jew’ living in Ariel (where Tommy and his family also live). Oritz’ son Ami was injured in a bomb blast, an attack allegedly perpetrated by Jack Teitel.  He was badly hurt, but recovered. Waller posted numerous ‘updates on Ami Oritz’ condition, as can be viewed here: http://goo.gl/EMeMS.  Note some of his terminology, which is frequently used by such ‘messianics.’

The Waller family is also prominently featured in Korean-made movie about Ortiz called ‘Restoration,’ and extremely anti-Israel, anti-Semitic feature, parts of which can be viewed here: http://goo.gl/60m1N."

Commentary: Wilder's gut reaction receives confirmation. But there was more to come.

"However, the icing on the cake is from a movie about the Waller family, that they helped produce. Called, ‘a journey home,’ about 35 minutes into the film: Tommy’s son Brayden says: “we work in their (Israeli’s) fields, we visit in their homes, and we pray that god will use us to have an impact on families we come to know and love in Israel …”
Tommy: “For us, sharing the gospel is not only verbal, it has an action to it. It’s based on relationships, that’s the impact I think we can have on the nation of Israel . It’s just one family at a time or one person at a time. As we’re working with these people, we’ll be able to share with them this jesus that we know, and it’s not going to be something that, ok, we don’t really trust you guys. They’re going to know us.”

This is an extremely accurate description of what the Wallers have been doing here in Israel : building up personal relationships with people, one at a time, earning their trust. They do it quite well. They fooled me!"

An excerpt from the above referenced documentary "A Journey Home":

Shouldn't Yishai Fleisher have a conversation with Wilder?
In light of the evidence, we have another troubling issue to contend with. Zehut's Moshe Feiglin needs to explain to the public why Hayovel supporter Yishai Fleisher is running for a slot in his party. And I don't want to hear about freedom of expression and libertarian values. The Torah understood free will better than any proponent of libertarianism. And no person involved with evangelicals and missionaries should be associated in any way with a Jewish party. Fleisher can rant all day and troll this blog ( he has) about how he is "more anti-missionary than we are". The facts remain facts and if Fleisher won't be honest, Moshe Feiglin wil have to address the issue eventually. Because there is a small army of Jews who don't give a damn that the craven masses are afraid to stand up to a handful of self-serving Jewish bullies whose actions (whether misguided or not) are endangering the Jewish people. I would venture to say that this is a greater issue than the legalization of cannabis in Israel.

Some final questions for Moshe Feiglin, or anyone qualified to speak on behalf of Zehut:

  • What is your position on interacting with evangelicals, missionaries, messianic movements and the like? Do you approve of taking money and forming alliances with such groups? What Rabbi or Torah figure do you refer to when assessing these issues as it relates to your organization?
  • What is your position on Hayovel? Does Zehut support their efforts? If not, how can you reconcile Yishai Fleisher's involvement in the party? Fleisher also has associations with Mike Huckabee (who supports the missionary organization "One For Israel") and was even photographed with notorious missionary Mike Isley.
  • Why is the issue of interfaith relations, dialogue, and associations not addressed prominently in Zehut's platform?

  • Why are there internal rumblings (we are aware of them) in Zehut over this issue, and why should these murmurings not concern Jews who might consider voting for Zehut?
Please answer these pressing questions, Moshe. Because we will continue to ask them. Rosh Hashana draws near. And these troubling problems are the spiritual equivalent of the Arab/Islamic threat. The Jewish soul is in danger in Eretz Yisrael. Hayovel is a primary player on the scene today, and they have tentacles in the Shomron. I would hope that Zehut doesn't decide to ignore and whitewash these issues, and thus perpetuate the scourge of corruption involving Jewish collusion with missionaries.

When Blessings Become A Curse

H/T Tomer Devorah for sharing this video: Portrait of "Hayovel" missionaries perverting our sacred Sukkot with pagan mockery, all in the worship of their man-god. A grotesque spectacle of xtian women co-opting the dress and head-coverings of religious Jewish women. Bearded men waving lulavim, flailing them about with fervor, as they sing their songs of praise for idol worship. All under the confines of a Sukkah, nestled in the confines of the closed religious community of Har Bracha. Funny, how the Har Bracha website makes no mention of missionaries dwelling in the yishuv.

Pagans love garish, outlandish, spectacles. This immediately comes to mind:

  • How many religious Jews in Israel and abroad know what is happening in Har Bracha and the greater Shomron region, as evangelical missionaries plant their roots and work on forming "relationships" with Jews?
  • How many religious rabbis are aware of this sin? How many open their mouths and scream out in outrage?
  • Does anyone really give a damn?
Who would have thought such a thing possible?

As always, we ask the question: Who let them in? In this particular case, the town's Rabbi, R Eliezer Melamed, gave Hayovel permission (and his blessing!) with his radical halachic psak (hebrew original) English version). JewishIsrael's Rabbi Sholom Gold's excellent response can be found here: http://jewishisrael.ning.com/profiles/blogs/jumping-the-geula-gun-a-response-by-rabbi-sholom-gold-to-rabbi-el

Daati-Leumi Gone Wild? Or are they just plain mad?

Shabbtai Tzvi would have a field day with this unbridled messianic fervor, which has much more in common with xtianity than anything remotely Jewish. Spitting on G-d's miracles and the miracle of Eretz Yisrael. Brother Esau sure knew what he was doing when he put down his bloody sword and put on his cowboy hat. All he needed were unscrupulous Jews, and a big sack of gelt

And then the enablers of these evangelical asps have the nerve to complain to us about our website featuring a "Wall of Shame"! What would King David and Hezekiah have done with Hayovel, and how would they address those Jews who gave them a foothold in the land? What about Elijah? The early Chashmonaim? What would the Gaonim, Rishonim, and Acharonim say? This is an unprecedented chillul Hashem in Jewish history. Where in our history did religious Jews allow missionaries to set up shop in a Torah community?

"They aren't missionaries, our detractors claim." They need to open their damn eyes already. Stop playing games with us. The evidence is overwhelming. Hayovel are spiritual predators.

"Wall of Shame"? Appropriately titled. And to those who have a problem with it, if the shoe fits, hit yourself in the head with it. The Wall of Shame is for those with zero shame. Zehut's new golden-boy Yishai Fleischer recently came on this blog to hurl insults and lies, without addressing the issues we raise. Evidently, he would rather rail against JewishIsrael and others (including us) who call out everyone who has a hand in this sin.

Yishai Fleischer seems upset. Perhaps he deemed the #8 slot in the Zehut primaries to be an insult? Perhaps he wants to skate from his associations? Perhaps he is unhappy that there are cracks in Zehut's camp? In any event if Zehut's Moshe Feiglin wants to prove that he cares more about the missionary issue in Israel than the ever pressing issue of cannabis legalization, the public needs to know why a supporter of Hayovel and Mike Huckabee is even in the party.

As I always say, it isn't personal, It's just halacha. I am pleased to hear from inside sources that there is discontent in the ranks of Zehut's followers. Some are wondering the very same thing. And many are bothered. It won't go away by itself. And perhaps the Zehut stage will be another vehicle to expose the evil Waller family and their nefarious agenda.

May the names and memories of the Waller family be obliterated.
